I really like the website for the meth use in paulding county. Speaking for myself, i am a recovering attic of this drug. I have been trying to get rid of this monster for over a year now and gain back all that i have lost. I dont mind sharing with everyone that this drug desrtoys all things in its path, families, kids the user of the drug. My life has crashed all before my eyes and im left now to either pick up the pieces and get my life back or continue to use. Im a fighter and i pray that i win this battle with meth. Thank you for letting me share my story maybe it will help a friend in need.

I was married to the love of my life for almost 7 years-he had his own business-we were doing well-he started staying gone days at a time(using Meth you loose track of time) It would be like he didn’t notice he was gone. He went thru remote control batteries to the tv about every 2 weeks because they have to have constant eye movement. When I did find out it was ICE (Meth) I was so shocked, I didn’t think he would do that, I still have never seen it (meth) in real life, only pictures. I contronted him and he confessed and said he wasn’t addicted and didn’t need help and 2 days later he left me and filed for divorce. During all this I lost my house of 10 years to foreclosure, I had an expedition that got repo’d, he left me with lots of bills and a nervous breakdown. Here he was thinking he was on cloud 9 and my family suffered, had to move, and to this day I don’t think he knows what all I went thru. We had no kids together but I have a son and he had 3 children. The drug user isn’t the only one that suffers, everyone around you suffers. If anyone is on it please get help, your not just killing yourself but the people you love, your family that cares (your supplier doesn’t care) suffer also, not just seeing you kill yourself but financially and mentally. You know to this day I haven’t talked with my ex-husband, I don’t really know how long he did it, I do believe he is still doing it, he married someone that would do it with him and allow it to go on. He lost his business, his family, among other things. But it hurts, this has been a little over 3 years since this happened and it still hurts and I love him, he was just not the person I thought I knew. Meth destroys EVERYTHING!!!!!!
